Gus Van Sant, who directed last Sean Penn for an Oscar in “Milk” is in negotiations to shoot a new project led by Twilight “actress Bryce Howard.The logline for “Restless” is kept secret, but the Columbia Pictures project described as a contemporary and distinctive about young love.

Howard will produce with his father Ron Howard and his Imagine Entertainment partner Brian Grazer. He attended the University of New York with the clerk of the film and rookie Jason Lew was there that I first wrote the story as a game. Howard, who had acted in plays with Lew, have a look at the story and encouraged him to write such a script.

After several drafts and a “gestation period” led to his father, who wanted to develop for Imagine. Lew continued to work on the screenplay with executive Imagine that ultimately showed it to Van Sant. Previously Associate Director Imagine the “Psycho” remake.

Howard ( “The Village”), recently replaced Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria in the third installment of the “Twilight”, which will be released in June.
