It’s Just A Movie Review: “Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls”
Took a little trip to the movies this afternoon to check out Tyler Perry’s newest film about a single dad and his new love. The commercials tend to leave out some of the plot premise, but I will ill you in a bit. The three little girls do have a mother, but she is living with the neighborhood drug dealer and can’t be trusted to raise the girls. The storyline is really what the film is about and not the emerging romance with Gabrielle Union. The film is a predicatable mix of good against bad that Perry has become known for. The film itself is enjoyable, but not anything new that would make you sit up and take notice. If you need a cute date movie that will provide some laughs and a few tears this one is for you. Overall it ranks a B-.
