It’s Just A Movie

Are you into sequels? Then you will love this summer! Why so? Simply because there will be plenty of sequels to watch in the movie theatres.

It seems that this summer, or, even more, this whole year, the producers are following a secure and almost 100% safe recipe for success: producing sequels. “Let’s take a true blockbuster, a number one Box Office movie, (the kind of movie that everybody raved about at school, at work and on the street) and invent a following story - doesn’t matter if our character died, we will reborn him, doesn’t matter if they married and lived happily ever after, we will stir things up and make problems, only to have something to solve until the end of the movie.” Yes, this is probably what the producers are thinking. And you know what? It works!

Let’s start with Spider Man 3. Well, after two movies featuring the superhero with spider features reached sales of more than one and a half billion dollars, the third one can only be an even huger charm - and yes, Spider Man 3 already has a huge sales package. Let’s move on from superheroes to crime and gangster movies - which one could that be? Ocean’s Thirteen, you guessed, the movie which gathers, once again, the sharp gang made of high class actors: Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon. And if you are interested to see Matt in yet another sequel, then don’t miss The Bourne Ultimatum.

Shrek the Third is another perfect sequel example, and, not to mention, a loveable one. And since we are talking about movies that are endlessly captivating for the little ones, we should say that it wouldn’t have been a complete sequel movie year, if a certain “magical” young hero missed from the movie theatres - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix continues the billionaire Harry Potter movies list.

With such a wide and tempting range of movies, all we can say is: enjoy the season of movie sequels!
