It’s Just A Movie

Are you trying to discover which movies are worth watching this week? And what better place to search than in the Box Office? Here is the hottest news, coming directly from this chart: Ocean’s Thirteen made it on top. And yes, it is a new entry. You might say that this was quite predictable, considering the success of its two predecessors.

But let’s be more specific. The Warner Bross movie managed to get not less than a $37 million gross, and the amazing sum is a result of only one weekend. As a consequence of the new entry, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End fell on number two, with a weekend gross of around $21 million. Two major movies - and both sequels or, better said, three-quels - on top of the chart, followed by the number three position Knocked Up, a little romantic comedy… this is how the Box Office looks right now.

But let’s go back to the movie - some say that it is even smarter than the previous ones, more thrilling and more dynamic. Actually, if we think about it, the second Ocean was a bit disappointing, but the third one is sure recovering! The actors? You might be familiar with most of them by now, so here they are: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Ellen Barkin and Al Pacino. Wow, how often does a movie gather so many five stars actors? So you see, this might be the first reason to go and watch it. That, plus the fact that the previous Oceans were fantastic. Enjoy!
