“American Idol” finalist Katharine McPhee has landed one of the leading ladies of The Pink House, a comedy pilot for NBC.
Written by Rick Wiener and Kenny Schwartz, “The Pink House” focuses on a couple of recent college graduates who move into a proper home for the sea on the beach in Manhattan and make an effort to seize the day.
McPhee will play Emily, a girl from the Midwest, which departs from the norm SoCal by eating cheeseburgers and, occasionally, get the dressing on your salad.
McPhee, who finished behind Taylor Hicks for the fifth season of “American Idol” today, has had many achievements much more than acting as a musician. Her credits include a supporting role player in the comedy “The House Bunny” in addition to his TV debut as CBS ‘ “CSI: NY”.
