ParanormalActivity Paranormal Activity: Horror Film Review

Paranormal activity is perhaps the perfect horror film. In comparison with films like Friday the 13th or Dawn of the Dead, if (as fantastic as the movie), does not seem very appropriate to put paranormal activity of the same genre.

The concept revolves around a young couple, Micah and Katie, who buy a camera to try to document some of the unexplained phenomena that occur in their home. Not only fail to capture some strange events on tape, but their attempts to contact it and provocation to incite the spirit of Micah in the increasingly strong and threatening activities.

Made in $ 10,000 and shot on video in the "found footage" format, Paranormal Activity is a masterpiece of subtlety. Every aspect of the film from sound design for assembly, rhythm, and defining build the right amount of tension, but never go so far as to become unbelievable, which in turn makes the film all that more terrifying.

And Paranormal Activity is truly terrifying. Other films get cheap scares with ominous music and monsters jumping out of closets, but the writer / director Oren Peli do something simple like a moving door at a more disturbing and frightening than any legitimate psycho killer film has ever reached.

If you do not like being frightened by a movie, then you should see Paranormal Activity. For everyone else, no film in that it still thought The Blair Witch Project was real and most highly recommended way to scare the pants off me. Paranormal Activity horror cinema is at its peak, and certainly the product of brilliance.
