Production company with Brad Pitt arrives at “Dark Void”

“Dark Void” will be the development of the film. Indian giant Big Entertainment unit and Brad Pitt Plan B shingle is developing a film version of the game and Pitt could star as the main fighter.
The two companies have acquired rights of third-person shooter from Capcom and develop the material as a feature. The company said that the project could be a potential “vehicle” for Pitt. Writers have not yet been made.
“Void” focuses on a character called cargo pilot presumed will (Pitt) who, having lost in the Bermuda Triangle, ends up in a parallel universe where a group of human beings have to fight an alien menace that long thought extinct. Will and other human beings, but have been exceeded in a number of weapons and powers to help repel the alien invasion.
The game will be available for Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in January.
The project is the first in a development partnership between Plan B and the trust that was announced at Cannes in 2008. The Indian giant has signed agreements with a number of production houses in Hollywood, including Julia Roberts and Red Om George Clooney’s Smokehouse.
Video games have had conflicting results on the big screen with the title “Max Payne” change in the commercial and critical failures. But officials involved in the contract to capture the benefits of a “Dark Void” film would have on their predecessor.
“As a game, Dark Void” mentality has developed a wide screen – a world full of adventure and the scope and scale of the film, “Capcom’s Senior Vice President of licensing Germaine Gioia said.
