Ladies and gentlemen, film lovers everywhere, brush the snow from the pre-Oscar theater season of your shoes. Summer is here!
Or, if not strictly “here”, at least fast approaching. And we know that long before the buds of spring leaves appear on trees, the buds of the summer blockbusters are appearing in theaters.
And before getting to anything else, the fact of the matter is: this seems a perfectly useful action movie. Bang Bang Bang – shirts, in shades ranging from explosions, jumping in the holes. Countless firearms and testosterone both the public mixed in their reviews of test reports have been emerging with a beard and an inability to multitask unexpected. Oh, and suddenly the urge to go road-surf on the back of a metal door. Because it looks good.
But then it could be a description of the action almost any tastic summer hit. To stand out from the crowd, must be able to offer something new or different or unique.
Or in this case, you have to offer things that are familiar, iconic pop-culture hall of fame and designed to inspire the note changes each Cinemage conditions between 30 and 50.
Therefore, the four main characters are dressed up to look as much to the original actors as possible – it is as if, instead of issuing normally, only showed an A-team theme party and gave the papers to the best costumes .
They have assembled a mysterious group of actors, from the elegant, suddenly the silver-haired fox is Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith, the clumsy tickiness District 9 Sharlto Copley as “Howling Mad” Murdoch, the undulation of Bradley Cooper as the facade Templeton “Faceman” Peck, and Ultimate Fighting Champion Quinton Jackson as BA Baracus.
And then there is the vision that are old and familiar, black with a red stripe, flying through the air.
Beyond that, what fans of the original A-team hope for the same kind of pleasure as their beloved TV series? The former soldiers, now unjustly accused and persecuted by the military, helping normal people and damsels in distress, construction of weapons, armor and transport of household goods.
And, most importantly, a team of trained murderers, who manage to have clashes, gunfire, explosions and car crashes festivals all without killing, maiming, or in many cases no bruising at all – ever – that was one of the remarkable things about the original series. Will adhere to all elements that went into making The A-Team of what it was? Let’s think about that while watching Bradley Cooper, with his shirt.
There will, apparently, a number of concessions to the fact that it is having to be updated. The military bases in the beginning of the desert look like trailer and Middle East, the relative ages and fitness levels of team members look different, too.
There is another difference. In the final seconds, no aircraft – one wing on fire, at least one plane explodes, another is broken into parts. And outside, a tank falls that contains the four main characters. The tank is then revealed that a set of parachutes. And while gently suspended in the air tank, Bradley Cooper comes out and starts shooting at other planes with a machine gun.
It’s safe to say that the scale is bigger. And so, like it or not, may not be ordinary people with common problems that the team is helping. And, I’m just guessing here, can not be the configuration of the battle of weapons of most household items – unless they are made from parachute silk sheets of large, very round beds.
That the public expects more large explosions, has more body and more bombastic stunts than it did on television in the mid 80s. So why not just do something that fits that brief? Why not do something with a lot of the same class of subjects, but without the costumes and the truck unlikely? Why have to do is The A-Team? Why can not just “A-Team” or simply “a team”? Why can not the 30 – to 50 years in Hollywood just focus more on good action movies again and stop trying to retrieve his childhood with blood?
And then, it seems that the title and the theme song is activated and it becomes clear why – because whatever else, plus the original concept would not have been able to use this theme song. And it’s a very good theme song. And at the end of the caravan, which is all that is promising his audience: a $ 100 million excuse to use a very good theme song.
